What happened
Consensys Software Inc. (CSI) will be rebranded as MetaMask, focusing on self-custodial consumer finance. Concurrently, MetaMask is launching a 'Money Account' feature, allowing users to earn up to 4% variable APY on stablecoin balances and spend at merchants directly from their self-custodial wallet. The institutional infrastructure business of CSI will form a new, independent company.
